These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and cleaning services provided by Kathy Clean ("Kathy Clean," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide residential and commercial cleaning services, including standard, deep, move-in/move-out, post-construction, window cleaning, and add-ons listed on our website or quotes. Service scope is defined in your quote and may vary by property condition and access.

2. Quotes, Pricing & Payment

• Estimates: Quotes are estimates based on the information provided. Final price may adjust if the scope or condition differs on arrival.
• Payment timing: Payment is due at service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted methods: We accept major cards and other methods listed in your quote/checkout. Tips are optional and go 100% to the cleaner.
• Late payments: Past-due balances may incur a late fee and collection costs where permitted by law.

3. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

• Notice: Please provide at least 24–48 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel (the exact window is shown on your quote or confirmation).
• Late cancellation / lockout: If we arrive and cannot access the property, or you cancel within the notice window, a fee may apply to cover the reserved slot and staff time.
• Delays: We aim to arrive within the scheduled window; traffic, weather, and prior jobs can affect timing. We'll communicate promptly about material delays.

4. Access & Preparation

• Access: You are responsible for providing safe access (keys, codes, gate). Please secure pets and valuables.
• Preparation: Pick up personal items or heavy clutter so we can focus on cleaning tasks. For refrigerators/ovens or other add-ons, ensure they're empty/unplugged if required.

5. Exclusions & Limitations

• Hazardous conditions (mold beyond surface level, biohazards, infestations, human/animal waste) are out of scope.
• Heights/areas requiring unsafe ladders or roof access are excluded.
• Heavy lifting, moving large furniture or appliances is not included unless explicitly agreed.

6. Supplies & Equipment

We provide standard supplies and equipment suitable for most surfaces. If you request specialty products or provide your own, you accept responsibility for results on those surfaces.

7. Breakage, Damage & Claims

• Please notify us of any fragile items or pre-existing damage before service.
• Report any issues within 24–48 hours of service with photos and a description. We will assess in good faith and, where appropriate, repair, replace, or credit at our discretion, in accordance with applicable law.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If something wasn't cleaned as expected, contact us within 24–48 hours. We will arrange a re-clean of the missed areas as soon as reasonably possible. The guarantee does not apply after new use/soil or outside the reporting window.

9. Photos & Testimonials

With your permission, we may take before/after photos of work areas to document results, quality, and training. We do not photograph personal identifying items. Testimonials or images are only used for marketing with your consent.

10. Health, Safety & Pets

For everyone's safety, our team will not handle hazardous materials or aggressive animals. Please secure pets during service. We may pause or decline tasks that pose safety risks.

11. Recurring Services

If you select a recurring plan (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly), the effective rate assumes continued cadence. Skips or significant intervals may require a deeper service and adjusted pricing.

12. Website & Intellectual Property

All website content (texts, logos, images) is owned by Kathy Clean or its licensors and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, distribute, or modify content without permission.

13. Third-Party Links & Tools

Our site may link to services like scheduling, payments, or analytics. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Review their terms and policies.

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability to the amount you paid for the applicable service. Some states do not allow certain limitations; your rights may vary.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others' rights.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, and applicable U.S. federal law. Venue and jurisdiction lie in Colorado courts.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in services or law. Updates will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
